Quantum, the Exhibition

  • CNRS
  • Illustration

Series of posters.

The image presents a dynamic and abstract 3D graphic design. It features a central, curved structure that appears to be breaking apart or exploding, with numerous shards and fragments dispersing outward. The fragments are primarily gray, with some accented in a vibrant pink, adding a striking contrast to the overall composition. A prominent white, glowing line runs vertically through the center of the structure, enhancing the sense of energy and movement. The background is a deep black, which further accentuates the bright and colorful elements in the foreground. The overall effect is one of chaos and energy, with a futuristic and digital aesthetic.

The concepts of quantum physics challenge our usual ways of thinking, adding an inescapable sense of strangeness to their complexity.

The quantum exhibition, commissioned by Julien Bobroff, a researcher at Paris-Sud and CNRS, consists of a series of seven posters intended for free use in laboratories and schools.

They were displayed from October 18 to November 10, 2019, at the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie as part of the exhibition “Quantum and Me!”.
